Tliltocatl Vagans (Mexican Red Rump)

Tliltocatl (Brachypelma) Vagans (Mexican Red-rump) is a great tarantula for the beginner. The New World fossorial Mexican Red-rump has a nice contrast of colors that make this spider stand out when on display. Of course the abdomen is covered in red hairs, while the carapace and femurs are a smooth velvety black with a gunmetal blue-gray coloring down the leg.
