Monocentropus Balfouri (Socotra Island Blue Baboon)

The Monocentropus Balfouri (Socotra Island Blue Baboon) is an Old World Terrestrial tarantula. Its femurs and abdomen are covered in a creamy sable brown color that matches perfectly with the midnight blue coloring on its legs and carapace. They are the best example of a communal species. In captivity these tarantulas tend to “look” after each other. There is always a risk to keeping more than one tarantula together.
