Heteroscodra Maculata (Togo Starburst Baboon)

The Heteroscodra Maculata (Togo Starburst Baboon) is an Old World Arboreal tarantula. Old World Arboreals, like the Heteroscodra Maculata will bite if provoked and is lightning fast. The coloring and design on the carapace and abdomen look like expensive China one uses on “special occasions”. This is a striking example of contrasting black and whites to make naturally occurring art.
